Blues Child was formed in September 2005. The band was the brain child of Dale Rugg who wanted to form a new band blending rockin’ blues and classic rock and roll. They mix rockin’ blues from the Groove Hogs, Blues Brothers, Colin James, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, with the classic rock of the Ides of March, Eric Clapton, Eddy Money, and Van Morrison for an explosive sound that appeals to audiences of all ages. Blues Chid’s wide range of vocals, harmonies and musical talent gives this band a very unique sound that will rock the house and is sure to get the audience on the dance floor.
